Digital Inc Group specializes in all things Mac. We provide consulting for mac networks and installations, dedicated mac hosting, and iOS application development. Our certified staff service individuals to medium sized corporations.
The software we previously used was bulky and didn't offer a real time tracker or a recurring billing feature. Consulting work takes us on the road a lot and not having an efficient way of keeping track of our expenses, time, & mileage was getting old. The previous system did not have a mobile solution so we were forced to keep track of everything by hand then type it in, causing us to spend way to much time on in house stuff instead of making money on jobs. We also have clients that have recurring bills either monthly, quarterly or yearly and it was painstaking to take care of each one month by month.
Billings pro allows us to share the same clients, access the data on our iPhones, and keep everyone synced up without us even having to click a button. The sheer fact we can enter all of our data in via our iPhone and have it in on our desktops as soon as we get back means less time typing and more time working on projects.
This software stood out to us once the mobile device syncing was enabled. The offline capabilities and automated syncing once a network was available simply blew our minds. We cannot find another software package out there that offers half of what Billings Pro does. The ease of use with Blueprints and Recurring billing in Billings was what set this software above the rest. We had not been able to find an easy to use recurring billing software that also kept up with projects.
Our clients have been extremely impressed by our ability to give a true and accurate time sheet for their projects. Add to that the ability to create an invoice, email it, and add payment on the job site they are blown away by how organized we are. Fortunately for us we work with fellow Mac people and they immediately ask us who makes it and where can they get it because it just works.
Multi-user capability and multi timers per project will allow us to keep a better track of our time and increase our workflow. The approval process will be helpful when having multiple people working and was a feature we weren't expecting but has turned out to be very useful. Billings Pro has probably cut our paperwork time in half. Couple that with the new multi-user functionality of Billings Pro now our CPA can log into our files remotely and run reports and cut paychecks without even having to ask us for any paperwork. We can only see big things ahead for us and Billings Pro.
It most certainly has. We no longer are forced to write it down only to then have to type it into a system. Not to mention the ability to add mileage as soon a we get into the car or add expense as soon as it is purchased. The start and stop button coupled with the icon notification reminds us what we have running and how it works. The task bar integration in the desktop version is incredibly easy and is very convenient with the ability to create a new time slip without even having to open Billings Pro.
With management time cut in half and with us not even having to print reports out to give to our CPA we have been able to cut our monthly expenses by nearly 30% making the price of Billings Pro more then affordable.
Billings Pro is a great step up from Billings and we highly recommend it. Any company that requires time tracking for its production has to take a look at Billings Pro. As the old saying goes 'time is money!'
