April 20, 2010 on 9:05 am | Ryan

Billings 3.6.1 features improved multi-currency behaviour and updated Apple Help documentation.

We’ve fixed a few bugs, most notably one that was effecting the “Send Email” option for delivering Estimates and Statements.

Full release notes are available here.

You can click the “Check for Updates…” menu item in Billings for an easy in-app update, or download it from the Billings website.

Keep up the great work guys/gals. Can’t live without this program.

  2. Terri Zeh Jacobson says:

Billings is looking pretty cool guys!

  3. Radek says:

Thank you for best invoicing software for mac i could find.
Just implement pricing with more than two decimal digits and my happiness will be full :)

  4. DA says:

I agree with Radek. I need 5 decimals for my pricing! We are a packaging manufacturer and sell very low-priced goods in high quantities. A typical order is for hundreds of thousands or millions of units that cost, say, 0.01234 or USD 12.34 per 1000 units.

In its current state, we are unable to use Billings. REALLY wish Marketcircle would come up with a solution to this issue…

Any updates planned to increase the number of decimals that can be used in the price? In my company, a typical order is for hundreds of thousands or millions of units that cost, say, 0.01234 or USD 12.34 per 1000 units.

@DA. You have to remember that Billings is primarily designed for tracking time and expenses. The greater bulk of our customers simply don’t deal with values such as 0.01234. We would have to change a number of things to make this happen (rounding rules, formatters, UI spacing etc…). We cannot do this for the current version but we’ll re-examine it when we do the next major version (no I don’t have a timeline for that).
