Billings 3.0.4 Available Now!

March 24, 2009 on 9:31 pm | AJ

We have an update to Billings for you. It’s an important release for those of you that use it with Daylite. Billings 3.0.4 will handle the existing Daylite as well as the upcoming Daylite 3.9.

We also added Japanese and Dutch UI and template translations. Stefaan Lesage helped us with Dutch translation. If you are Dutch, you may recognize him from the great Billings tutorials he does on the iTutor Podcast website.

Another change that might make a few people happy is the timer now has a resolution of 1 second instead of 1 minute. Most people bill in 6 minute increments, so we figured a 1 minute resolution was fine, but it seems that some people want greater control. Along with that 1 second resolution, we added the ability to edit the start and end times for each log entry for even more control. There are few other fixes as well.

Download it here or go to Billings -> Check for Update…

Until next time…

The change in resolution to seconds instead of minutes is fine, however did you consider making this a preference?

Being a user that doesn’t really care about the seconds the update seems to have made entering slips so much more difficult.

    Hello AJ,

I’m a happy user of DayLite, along with my colleagues at Fnv. I was eavluating Billings, but didn’t like the fact that it runs on AddressBook database. Any plans of a release working on the same DayLite database (also the new SQL seems robust) or a Billings plugin for DayLite?

Thanks for the fantastic products anyway!

    Best,

    Lorenzo

I can’t wait for the iPhone companion to come out for this! I really enjoy the integration between Daylite and Billings!

Keep up the great work guys!

    Hey guys! Great work!

I am still waiting for having multi-currency-support. Is there any chance that we will see that?

    thanks, JH
