Updated.
We are asking you to not install the latest Apple Security update (2010-001) on both Leopard and Snow Leopard until we have an update. This security update includes a change to the SSL libraries (for secure communications) which causes parts of Daylite to fail (specifically when you hit 512 MB of data transfer in a session).
We are working on an immediate fix and we will update you on the status in the next day or so.
Just in case you are wondering “why did they not test this?”. The answer is, we have no opportunity to test security updates before they are rolled out (unlike OS updates).
UPDATE – Feb 4: Our engineers worked late into the night and have prepared Daylite 3.9.7 and Daylite Server 3.9.7. If you use both, please update both. You can apply this Daylite update before or after installing Security Update 2010-001. Download here.
Until next time…
