Daylite 3.15.1 with support for 10.7.3 now available

We’ve released Daylite and Daylite Server 3.15.1 with support for OS X 10.7.3.

We’ve fixed:

  • Daylite Mail Integration (DMI) compatibility for Mac OS X 10.7.3 and Mail 5.2
  • an issue where the Live List print layout was not generating any data
  • an issue in the Activity Set preference pane where the “Owner” drop down was not being remembered/saved

You can get the latest versions of Daylite and Daylite Server from our Daylite downloads page.

*Note: Be sure to follow these steps when upgrading Daylite and Daylite Server.

Billings Pro 1.5.5 Available Now

Billings Pro 1.5.5 is finally available on the Mac App Store.
It has some important fixes for our Cloud users – essentially better error handling.

If you are a cloud user, I urge you to update.
If you are a self serve user, it is a nice update, but not absolutely necessary.

You can get the update from this screen on the Mac App Store.

Billings Touch 1.1.6 now available

Billings Touch 1.1.6 is now available in the App Store (you can update directly from the App Store on your iOS device, or through iTunes on your Mac).

This release fixes issue that broke compatibility with iOS 3.1.

Billings Pro 1.5.4 released with German language support

Billings Pro 1.5.4 is now available in the Mac App Store.

For this release we’ve localized the app interface and invoice templates in German.

We also fixed a few French localization issues and a bug with the go-to arrow in the Estimate Slips area (for OS X Lion users).

Note: Billings Pro 1.5.4 will work fine with Billings Pro Server 1.5.3

Daylite & Daylite Server are now fully Lion compatible

We’ve released Daylite and Daylite Server (versions 3.15) that are both fully compatible with Apple’s OS X Lion.

Attention Tiger users:

Daylite and Daylite Server 3.15 do not work on Tiger (10.4).

We’ve had tremendous difficulty compiling the apps and daemons (background processes) such that they work on 10.4, 10.5, 10.6 and 10.7, and as a result we’ve ceased Tiger support. If you’re running Tiger you will need to stay on Daylite 3.14. We estimate that less than 2% of our users are on Tiger at this point. We apologize for cutting the cord on Tiger without much notice.

We are still able to support Leopard (10.5), Snow Leopard (10.6) users with Daylite 3.15.

To accommodate those that are running Daylite Server or Daylite on a Tiger machine but have Lion on some desktop/laptops, we’ve made Daylite 3.15 interoperate with Daylite 3.14. However, we recommend upgrading those computers soon.

We’d like to thank the many people on our forums that helped us beta test 3.15!

Billings Pro & Billings Pro Server are now Lion compatible

Billings Pro and Billings Pro Server (version 1.5.2) are now available.

The primary reason for this release is OS X Lion compatibility, but we’ve also added French localization in Billings Pro.

You can read the full release notes here.

You can simply update Billings Pro directly from the Mac App Store.

For Self-Serve users, please make sure you upgrade Billings Pro Server first (available here).

Daylite Touch 1.7 now available

Daylite Touch 1.7 is now available in the App Store for your iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.

Notable improvements for 1.7 include:

  • Support for TextExpander (increased productivity, yay!)
  • Ability to import contacts and organizations from the iOS Contacts app
  • Support for importing contacts and organizations using the business card scanning software ScanBizCards (available in the App Store as a separate download)
  • Ability to turn reminders off

There are a few other small enhancements and bug fixes – read more about it here.

To update, just visit the App Store from your iOS device or in iTunes on your Mac.

Billings 3.7.2 is now available

Billings 3.7.2 is now available from the Mac App Store, as well as us directly.

Bug fixes include:

  • Fixed tax rate (percentage) display bug in Lion
  • Now works on PowerPC machines again (3.7.1 inadvertently removed that)
