What a fantastic idea! I wish I was in New York City (for this and other reasons). Will Amin be traveling to other cities’ Apple Stores on a Daylite Touch demo tour?

  2. AJ says:

@Jill – If the other Apple stores invite us, we may consider it. Also, a lot of our partners do presentations regularly. You can learn more here.

  3. Mike says:

Any news on when we can expect to see the programed rolled out. I love demos but I already know I want the program. :-)

  4. AJ says:

@Mike – “First Quarter” is still our target and we are working damn hard to make sure we hit our target – hopefully the AppStore approval process is quick…

I watched the videos and the new iPhone application looks really good, and I’ll definitely be buying it. As usual, I wish my entire company could use Daylite, but our product runs on Windows and that’s what the developers use.

The main two things missing from the phone application are:

    1. Integration with the phone! I talk to dozens of people a week, and can’t keep them straight. It would be amazing if when someone called me, the phone brought up the notes, tasks, emails, and projects associated with that person so I didn’t have to go looking for them.

    2. I keep hammering on this, but the ability to attach form emails with PDFs. I would save hours a day if only the product, either the desktop or iPhone application would let me send a product brochure with an email.

  6. Jack says:

“Integration with the phone!” Yes, that’s a no-brainer, isn’t it. That’s like basic integration, and when I heard Daylight Touch wouldn’t have it, I gasped.

  7. Ryan says:

    @ Michael

In response to your #1, I wish this was possible too. Until Apple allows developers to access this information, this won’t be possible. However, if it does become possible, you can bet it will be on our radar.

For #2, I’ll log that as a feature request, even if its already there.

  8. Chris says:

We are working only 2 months with Daylite and all employees love it, it simplifies a lot ting we did on different tools.
We will definitely buy Daylite Touch for all employees using iphones (almost all).

We can hardly wait… any release date already planned? First Quarter 09 is almost finishing… ;-)

  9. AJ says:

@Jack – it’s an API issue. We have made our requests to Apple to enable us to do certain things.

  10. AJ says:

@Chris – See the latest post – we’ve submitted to the AppStore. Now we have to wait for the approval process.

  11. Tom says:

Within the 3.0 announcement today (yeah, finally cut & paste) they said 98 percent of the Apps submitted are being approved. Of that number 96 percent of those are approved within seven days.

It’s been 10 for Daylite Touch so hopefully we’ll see it really soon. (hopefully Apple won’t find some reason to deny it like they have some others.)

Also with all features announced, I wonder what more MC will be able to do with DT in the near future.

Has anyone heard pricing for DT (single user)?
