What's New in Daylite 3.2.2

Version 3.2.2 is an important maintenance update with minor additions and fixes. See upgrading instructions below. Version 3.2.2 requires Mac OS X 10.4.1 or higher.

Changes
  • Updates to OpenBase 10.0.5. This update fixes an important indexing bug. It is highly recommended that all users with OpenBase 10.0 through to 10.0.4 update to this new version of OpenBase.
  • Added menu items and keyboard shortcuts for Next/Previous for the calendar. These can be found in the View->Calendars menu
  • Added Source Import ID to column mode for the Contact, Organization, Group, Project, Opportunity, Task and Appointment panes
  • Added mappings for linking Contact, Organization, Project or Opportunity via Source Import ID in the Task and Appointment delimited data importers
  • Added Opportunity State to the bulk edit options for Opportunities
  • Exposed additional contacts, organizations, projects and opportunities attributes in the report designer
  • Fixed issue where Pipeline and Pipeline Stage Criteria would show up differently in the report engine versus the in-app smart lists. You now have access to Pipeline and Pipeline/Stage picker in both and Pipeline and Pipeline Stage names in the report engine
  • Re-added Pipeline/Stage criterion to the Projects smartlists
  • Re-added Pipeline/Stage criterion to the Opportunities smartlists
  • Fixed issue where merge based reports showed up in the new template creator
  • Fixed issue in ACT importer where contacts with the same name and/or email address being imported could all end up as one contact
  • Fixed issue where in some cases a rebuild of the quick search index would leave some objects out
Upgrading
If you are or any of your other users are on Mac OS 10.3.9, do not upgrade to this version. As of version 3.2, Daylite works on Mac OS X 10.4.1 or higher.

If a Marketcircle Partner installed your system or maintains it, please consult them before installing this update.

If you are in a multi-user environment, please make sure everyone is upgrading at the same time.

If you are using any other OpenBase dependant software such as LightSpeed, please ensure that there is no version conflict with OpenBase 10.0.5.

Since OpenBase 10.0.5 (the database engine) includes an index fix, it may take some time for your database to restart as some indexes will be rebuilt. The duration depends on the size of the database. Allocate an additional 15 minutes or so to your regular update routine.

Upgrading for users with offline databases
If you or some of your colleagues have offline databases, please follow these instructions carefully.

If you are upgrading from Daylite 3.0 through to 3.1.3, please synchronize first, then install the update on all computers (including all offline computers, desktops and the server).

If you are upgrading from Daylite 3.2 or 3.2.1, install the update on all computers (including all offline computers, desktops and the server), then synchronize.
