Note: We strongly recommend that you upgrade all your computers to 3.7.4. Daylite 3.7.4 addresses a recently introduced bug that could cause data loss for some people who use offline databases.

New features:

• Improve the look of your communications with our new merge capabilities. Merge Daylite data with your favorite templates from Pages, Numbers, and Keynote and send them off using Daylite.
  

• Includes the Dialectic dialer plugin. This plugin allows you to reach your contacts with many more options such as Bluetooth mobile phones, CISCO IP phones, ViaTalk, and Vonage. Dialectic has excellent interaction with Daylite; the combination of Daylite, DayliteABMenu, and the Dialectic is very powerful.

• Added the Daylite Concepts Guide. This guide helps new users understand the basic concepts of Daylite and provides a good foundation for getting started. For existing users, it shows how you can better apply Daylite's powerful features to your business and improve productivity.

• Updated OpenBase to version 10.0.11 build 124 which introduces the following:

a. Better permissions management.
b. Addresses dynamic IP address network connection issues (improved network re-connection reliability).
c. Automatic fallback to a default backup directory when a user-defined backup directory is not writable.
d. Improved offline synchronization reliability.

• Additional information for contacts—such as category, additional phone numbers, owner and more—is now displayed in the linked view and the Quick Find results pane.

• Added Birthday and Anniversary to contact summary view and as column options.

• Added Task Duration as a column option.

• Added the ability to use the current time zone when you import calendar files that do not have a time zone defined.

• The local time in the Appointment window is now displayed using the user's preferred display format.

• Improved the resizing behavior of several edit windows.

• Improved auto refresh of all the views following an online/offline sync.

Database and schema: There is no change in schema version between 3.7, 3.7.1, 3.7.2, 3.7.3 and 3.7.4. Daylite 3.7.4 includes the new OpenBase version 10.0.11 build 124. All computers must be upgraded to the same version of Daylite (in this case, 3.7.4). There is no need to sync the offline databases before the upgrade.
