To add/remove Contacts from this view, open the Contact edit window, click on the 'Extra' tab, check/uncheck the 'Add to Menu Bar' box.


You can also toggle whether to show your Contacts on your computer’s menu bar and dock.

To disable this feature (by default, this is enabled):
-select the following from the Daylite menu bar:
-Daylite -> Preferences
-click on the 'General' icon
-uncheck the 'Show Contact in Menu Bar' & 'Show Contacts in Dock' boxes
