A backup of your database is created when launching Daylite 3 for the first time.
This backup can be restored and used in the previous 1.x version*.
If you haven't changed the location of the backup folder, then you will find your backups in:

Hard Drive -> Library -> OpenBase -> Backup

*Please note that any information that was added whilst using Daylite 3 cannot be restored using this method.

When you have located your Daylite 1.x backup (which is identifiable by the date/timestamp of when the upgrade to Daylite 3 was performed), make a copy of it, and then paste it onto your desktop.

Download and reinstall Daylite v1.9 using this "link"

When you have reinstalled Daylite 1.9, please review the following training movie which will walk you through the steps on how to restore the backup database:-
