I'm receiving a "Timeout connection" error when syncing

If a synchronization failure occurs during a sync reporting the following error:

Exception: ISyncServerUnavailableException - Can't connect to the sync server: NSPortTimeoutException: connection timeout: did not receive reply

we suggest that you restart the computer, launch Daylite and attempt a sync again.

A change that Apple applied to the latest update of their OS 10.5.5 is 'potentially' causing the sync to time out in some cases.

We're working on fix to combat this, but in the meanwhile, should the sync suddenly stop, freeze or go into an inactive state again, rebooting the computer is the best course of action to take.
