 New Features or Improvements
  • Added multi-column sortability to all the results lists. Click anywhere in the column headers to see a sheet with sorting options.
  • Added the XML Web Lead importer
  • Changed Appointment list area to be more consistent with the other view. Appointment details are now shown in the bottom pane.
  • Changed Tasks area to be more consistent with the other view. Tasks details are now shown in the bottom pane.
  • Location Type labels now supported, shows in Task and Appointment cards
  • Added a Today button to the calendar views - shows today in the currently viewed calendar view (i.e. if looking at a month and the today button is clicked todays month is shown)
  • Added time to the month view display
  • Changed the Address field to accept 'return' while in that field (to accept multi-line addresses). The tab key behaves the same and takes you to the next field.
  • Calendar Due List can now be configured to show or not show Completed items (Use the popup menu at the bottom of the Due List)
  • Calendar Due List can now show or not show Overdue items (Use the popup menu at the bottom of the Due List)
  • Added a online/offline sync activity log and console message. Both the start and completion of the sync are noted in the console and a log of the sync activities is written to the user's home -> Library -> Logs folder.
  • Added the ability to double click objects in the link table in the edit cards, which will show them in the main window.
  • New Address Book preference pane.
  • New Auto Dialer preference pane.

  • Added functionality for drag and drop of URLs to objects in Daylite that can link to Web references(Contact, Group, Project, Opportunity, Organization).

Fixes
  • Fixed issue where notes linked to a project were not carried over during a 1.x db update to 3.0 db
  • Increased the transaction timeout of newly created databases from 600 to 14400 seconds. This will help with synching offline databases.
  • Fixed issue where adding new roles in an editing card for an object can cause that object to get duplicated in some circumstances.
  • Fixed issue where when creating a new contact using the "Link Additional Contact" next step in the New Contact card, a duplicate organization was created.
  • Keywords now sorted alphabetically by default in the keyword picker.
  • Fixed issue where trying to bulk edit Appointments caused a crash before the window appeared.
  • Discount total not updating in Line Item create/edit view
  • Discount formatter on Line Item Create/Edit view not correct.
  • Fixed issue where the Filter field in the results header was showing up to the far left of the header(covering the tab buttons) the first time the pane was loaded.
  • Fixed issue where hitting '+' in a field with a phone formatter on it would cause a crash if phone formatting was enabled in the preferences.
  • Fixed issue where an Appointment type and Category name could be changed in the Smart Calendar window
  • Fixed issue where linking a new user to a contact with no email would cause crash
  • Fixed a situation where a blank form would cause a crash
  • Fixed issue where a shortcut button would not get removed when a sourcelist was deleted and you would crash on next login
  • Fixed issue where double clicking an appointment on the calendar would no longer open the appointment in the edit card - it now does.
  • Fixed appointment create/edit card so that the min duration of a timeblock can be 5 min.
  • Opportunity total now respects international currencies
  • Tightened the margins the month view to make better use of the available space.
  • Fixed a situation where bogus teams where created in newly created offline databases.
  • Fixed issue where widgets in the Relationship Picker dialog were not resizing properly
  • Fixed issue where the widgets in the Role Picker dialog were not being resized properly
  • Changed the colors used for the drag create Appointment in the day and week views
  • Fixed issue allowing Notifications to be edited in the Notification Window
  • Made the scroller small in the Notification Window
  • Fixed logic for overdue items in the Calendar Due List
  • Fixed incorrect text displayed issue in hot keys preferences
  • Fixed issue where a user could not rename its username to resolve case issues
  • Fixed Delete button disabled in preferences bug
  • Changed the data selection technique in the report writer. Reports created prior to beta 3 will not work. You will need to open the report templates and reset the data fields for Tables, Group By, Top/Down Pipeline, Linear Pipeline and Forecast elements. Legacy .dlrpt's continue to work. Place them on the desktop temporarily for the print sheet to pick them up
  • Fixed extra fields bug (too many fields being displayed in prefs) for products/services/line items
  • Fixed org region/type/industry pop-ups sorted
  • Fixed issue of deleting default roles
  • Fixed bug when linking a contact or organization to another object with a role. Contact/Org itself was displayed in link table rather than what it was linked to
  • Role Types are sorted alphabetically in the role chooser dialog
  • Relationships are sorted alphabetically in the relationship chooser dialog
