What's New in Daylite 3.2.3
Important Note: OpenBase has undergone a number of underlying changes in the way permissions work for security reasons, and as a result Daylite will require an admin password when creating and updating databases. There is also now a "Restore" function in File->Database for restoring backups. It is no longer recommended that you restore backups manually, this function will restore the backup (accepts either .db, .tgz, or .zip files) and set the proper permissions for you.
- Undo/Redo menu items are added to the Edit menu now when you are using the Merge Letter Editor, so Undo/Redo support works for the text editor.
- Significantly improved integration with Billings 2.5. You can send projects, opportunities, tasks, appointments, products, and services from Daylite to Billings.
- Fixed issue where newly created Appointments would not show on a visible month view which had no data loaded.
- Fixed issue where changing the category color was not saving for a small number of users, when they logged in again it would be back to the old color.
- Fixed issue where typing in a date value, rather than using the date picker, would yield incorrect results for the resulting smart list.
- Fixed issue where in repeat rules, we were not correctly handling in monthly and yearly repeats, 'last ' of month.
- Fixed some rare situations where when doing an Online/Offline sync the connection gets cut off and the sync was not failing gracefully.
- Fixed issue where appointments would render in odd orders in month view printing.
- Fixed issue where if the databases folder does not exist or does not have proper permissions, the user was denied from making a new database with an alert "Databases folder not writable."
- Fixed issue where when creating a contact from an address book entry or import a vCard, if the visibility functionality was turned on in the Daylite preferences any associated note could appear to not have been imported.
- Fixed issue where when creating a new database the "me" record does not have the proper permissions set, consequently if you had then turned on visibility functionality in the preferences your contact record would become invisible to you.
