What's new in Daylite 3.5.2?
New features
- Added option in the sync preferences to turn off automatic synchronization. Users who do this will have to trigger syncs from the Actions > Synchronize menu option.
- Added keyboard shortcut for the Actions > Synchronize menu option (command-option-S).
- Added a progress panel when executing f-scripts.
Bug fixes
- Fixed issue where users using a version of Daylite previous to 3.0 were unable to update to 3.5
- Fixed an issue where a blank category name in Daylite could cause a sync failure.
- Fixed some issues with appointment repeat validation which fixes a sync failure.
- Fixed issue where changing the owner on a task or appointment in the bulk edit cards would cause a crash.
- Fixed issue where the ACT! importer would fail if certain checkboxes were selected when doing the import.
- Not allowing upgrading from previous versions if any of the user's usernames are 'Admin' or 'Administrator'. The users will have to change these usernames before doing the upgrade.
- Fixed issue where after entering a new location for a task, it was not showing up in the combo box menu until you log in the next time.
- Fixed issue where in the group card the details field was not validating the length of the data properly.
- Fixed issue which was crashing the new database wizard sporadically.
- Fixed issue where certain valid characters were prevented from being entered for usernames.
- Fixed issue where certain reminders were causing a sync failure.
- Fixed issue where the combo box for location in the appointment card was not auto-populating with previously entered choices.
- Fixed issue where scroll bars and wheel scrolling in the detail fields for the task and appointment cards was not working.
- Fixed issue where multiple go-to date pickers would appear upon logging out and logging back in.
- Fixed issue where during the update to 3.5 if the user accounts had a user with no username the upgrade would fail. Now it substitutes “New User” in for empty usernames.
- Fixed issue where when doing a backup as part of the update process if the folder does not exist the update will fail. It now defaults to /Library/OpenBase/Backup in this case.
- Fixed issue where phone/address/electronic address types being used in smart list criteria would cause a crash.
