Please note that you can only sync objects that are 'owned' by you, or
'assigned' to you (you being the user that you're logged into the database with).
This will apply to a Palm device or Address Book.
Any appointments that you have been invited to will also not synchronize to the PalmOne way to do this is to use the Bulk-Edit feature of Daylite and
change the 'owner' of the objects to yourself and then perform
a synchronization with a Palm or Address Book.
More information on the Bulk-Edit feature can be obtained from the following article:
http://www.marketcircle.com/kb/idx/0/187/article/If you don't want to change the ownership of the objects,
another way to get around this would be to do the following:
(please note that this is applicable to Palm users only)
*switch the Visibility to 'On' in the Users & Team Preferences window (under the 'Visibility' tab)
(please restart the application for changes to take affect)
*create a group in Daylite (name it 'PalmSyncGroup' for example)
*put all the contacts, organizations etc you would like to synchronize over to that group (regardless of who 'owns' them)
*in the Palm Sync Preferences, check 'Constrain Synchronization
to Group' box and select the 'PalmSyncGroup'
*make sure that you 'reset database to current' and 'reset last sync date'
*make sure that the objects (orgs, contacts) you want to sync are checked to 'active'
*hard reset the Palm device (clear the Palm's memory)
*perform a sync
