*Make sure that you have the most recent version of the Palm Desktop installed.
*Make sure that you have the most recent version of the Daylite
Palm Conduit
for Daylite 1.x is installed.
This conduit can be downloaded from the following link:
http://www.marketcircle.com/downloads/archive.html*Navigate to the following folder using your Finder window:
Hard Drive -> Library -> Application Support -> Palm HotSync -> Conduits*Make sure that only the following conduits appear in the above folder:
-Backup Conduit
-Install Conduit
-Pirahna Conduit (This is the Daylite Palm Conduit)
-Voice Memo Conduit
-Photos Conduit.
(Voice and Photo are not compulsory.. if you have them thats fine,
and if you don't theres no need to worry)
*Move any other conduits to a folder called Conduits.psdisabled
*Create a backup of both your Daylite database and your Palm data.
(Important!) -Instructions on how to backup Daylite can be found on our
training movies page.
-To create a backup of your Palm data navigate to
Home Folder -> Documents -> Palm -> Users -> <username> -> Backups -Move this Backup folder onto the desktop
(or a location of your preference i.e Documents).
*Perform a hard-reset on your Palm. (refer to Palm manual for instructions)
*Make sure that the Palm Sync preferences are set properly in Daylite:
-go to Daylite -> Preferences -> Palm Sync:
-ensure that the 'Enable Palm Synchronization' is checked
-click on the 'Reset Database To Current'
-click on the 'Reset Last Sync Date'
-ensure that 'Daylite Takes Precedence'
-Under tabs of each Objects you want to sync (Calendar, Contacts, etc..)
make sure that the 'Active' check box is checked.
-Under Contacts, ensure that contacts, and organizations are unique.
*When you have done all of the above, close the Preferences window
and perform the Sync from your Palm device.
