Note:This article provides instructions for users trying to access a database that resides on their own computer (and not a shared database that resides on another computer).
* Launch Daylite.
(If Daylite tries to automatically log you into a wrong database,
prevent this by following the instructions from the following article:
http://www.marketcircle.com/kb/idx/0/205/article/)
* Bring up the 'Connect to database' window if not already visible.
(File -> Log in to Database...)
* Click on the 'Select a Connection' popup, and select: 'Find Local Databases...'
(If you don't see this popup, click on the 'Show Details' button)
* In the 'Find Databases' window, type in:
127.0.0.1 in the 'On Computer' text field and press the
[return] key
(Again, note that the values noted above are for this computer--
the computer that you are presently working on.
If the database is located on another computer, you will have to
enter the IP of that that computer instead of the above boldfaced numbers!)* Select your database from the list and click on 'Choose'.
* You will now be taken back to the login window.
* Type in your username and password then click 'Login'
If you have forgotten your password, read the following knowledge base article:

* If you are experiencing any other problems logging into your database, make sure to browse through other database troubleshooting articles:
