Note:
Make sure that all users have logged off from the database before you stop the database.
You should not be stopping your database unless you have been instructed to do so.

*Launch OpenBase Manager from the following path:
HD/Applications/OpenBase/OpenBaseManager
*Go to Window -> Show databases
*Click on the Local button on the left pane
*You should now be able to see your database(s)
*If the Database has a red or clear light beside it, then it is already Stopped.
*To stop the database, click on the database name to highlight it, and select 'Stop Database' from the Action menu
*Wait until the light is Red to confirm that it has stopped
