How do I connect to a shared database? Or, My company has been using Daylite and wants to in include me as a new user. What should I do to get started?

Consider your company is using Daylite in a multi-user environment. You are a new user who wants to connect to the shared Daylite database. Learn your connection details such as user name, password, and the IP address of the server or the host computer. In some cases you may not know what the connection details are. Either you can ask your Daylite administrator, or check a colleague's machine to find out the Computer or IP address and the database name. Then you can use your own username and password.
1. Choose File > Log in to Database... 2. In 'Select a Connection' pop-up menu, choose Find Other Databases. 3. In the sheet that opens, enter the IP address of the server or host computer. 4. Highlight the database. Click Choose. 5. Specify the username and password. 8. Click Login.
