To export Calendar to iCal
1. In Daylite, choose File > Export > Export Calendar to Apple iCal.
The iCal Export window opens.
2. Enter the appropriate information. Keep in mind the following:
- Select the All Dates radio button to export the entire calendar. Otherwise, specify a range of dates.
- The default export location for your calendar is the desktop. Click Browse to specify a different location to export your calendar.
- You can export each category as a seperate calendar by enabling the checkbox.
3. Click Export.
Daylite shows the message "Export Complete!"
4. Click Close.
If you have exported each category as a seperate calendar, the individual calendars of each category are stored on the desktop as iCal files. When you open the iCal file by double-clicking, you can choose a destination calendar in iCal where you want to view the appointments and scheduled items.
If you have chosen not to export each category as a seperate calendar, the calendar you exported from Daylite is stored on the desktop as an iCal file. Open it by double-clicking and choose a destination calendar in iCal to view all your appointments and scheduled items.
NOTE: if exporting your Daylite calendar for use with an iPhone for Daylite 3.2 (as discussed in
Can my iPhone synchronize with Daylite 3.2?), it is recommended that you select New Calendar as the destination calendar when importing into iCal.
