How do I delete a database?

Please ensure that you have quit/closed the Daylite application before proceeding.

Launch OpenBase Manager (located in /Applications/OpenBase/)

  • Double click on the Local icon in the window (top left).
  • Select the Database that you would like to delete.
  • Click on the action menu (gear icon) and select Stop database if it is not already stopped.
  • Confirm the 'shutdown' action.
  • Click on the action menu and select Delete Database.
  • Confirm the deletion when the Confirm Delete Sheet appears.
  • Quit OpenBaseManager by selecting OpenBaseManager from the menu bar and clicking on Quit OpenBaseManager in the menu items.
