How can I use the [return] key to confirm and close the create or edit card window?

We have provided a useful shortcut in Daylite > Preferences > General window which can enable this feature (this is for users that would prefer to close the card view using the [return] key as opposed to clicking on the 'ok' prompt with the mouse cursor).

  • To access the preferences window, select the following from the Daylite menu bar:
Daylite -> Preferences -> General
  • Place a check in the "OK button default in Create/Edit cards" box (this is located under the 'Shortcuts' heading)
  • Close the preferences window
  • Confirm that changes have been made by clicking on the 'OK' prompt

When opening a create or edit card window, you should notice that the 'OK' prompt is flashing denoting that the shortcut is now active.
