Why are appointments or meetings scheduled with other users not showing up in their calendars.
|
It is important to remember that scheduled Meetings marked 'Private' will not show up under the other users' calendars, even if those users are part of the meeting.
If you want the other users for whom the meeting is scheduled for to be able to see this meeting, then you should do one of the following:
1) * Select the 'Custom' option for the Visibility popup field in the Appointment edit card. * The custom settings sheet will appear * Check the read and/or write check boxes for the users or teams that you want to give visibility to.
OR 2) * Add a 'Visibility Preset' in the Users and Teams Preferences * In that Visibility Preset, check the read and write check boxes for users and teams for whom you want to give access to. * For the Appointment(s) in question, change the option for 'Visibility' popup to your newly created Visibility Preset.
Note that it is recomended that you use method 1 (custom option in edit card)as opposed to method 2 (visibility presets) for this particular purpose of scheduling meetings. This is because you may forget in the future to whom a particular Visiblity Preset provides access to.
Also note that 'Delegating' is not the same as Scheduling a meeting with someone.
