There are two possible solutions for password recovery:

If you had the system automatically remember your account password so you didn't have to enter it every time you logged into the database, it is likely stored in your Keychain:

• Open the 'Keychain Access' utility (Applications -> Utilities -> Keychain Access)
• Select All Items on the left
• Locate the record for the Daylite application under the Name column and double-click it
• A new window opens; in the Account field will be displayed 3 pieces of information:
  • The computer name/IP address of the database connection
  • the database name
  • the database account username
  
  
• At the bottom is a Show Password checkbox; checking this will reveal the password for this username account (you may need to enter your Keychain password to view this

If you did not have the system remember you password, you will need to log into the database as an administrator to view the current database users and change the password for the desired user account. If no other users have administrator access to the database, you will need to log in as the Daylite Admin:

Username:
Daylite Admin
Password:
Daylite Admin

and do the following:-

• From the menu bar select Daylite -> Preferences... -> Users & Teams -> Users (tab)
  
• Select your username in the left-hand panel
  
• Click on the edit button to the right of the password field [/,]
  
• Change the password and save it
  
• Close the preferences window and logout of the database (File -> Database -> Log Out
  
• Now login as your username using the new password (File -> Connect to.....)
  

If you changed the default Daylite Admin password and cannot remember it, you will have to send your database to us.
