I noticed there's a new 'Trash' option in Daylite's window' menu. What is this used for?

When an item in Daylite is deleted by a user, it goes into trash. The Trash window displays a list of all the contacts, organizations, projects, opportunities, groups, tasks, appointments, notes or any other items you have deleted in Daylite. If you delete an item that you own or an item you have delegated to another user, it shows up in the Trash window. The Trash window can be accessed by choosing Window > Trash.

If you are logged into Daylite as a user, the Trash window shows all the items you have deleted. Whereas, if you are logged into Daylite as an administrator, you will have the ability to see the items deleted by other users by selecting the 'Include other users' trash' checkbox. However, you will not be able to see items that are private. Only a super user will be able to see everything including items marked as 'private' and can also restore them.

You can search for items you have deleted in the Trash window by specifying their name in the filter bubble. You can select an item in the Trash window and preview it by clicking 'Show Card.' Any item that you have deleted in Daylite can be restored, as long as its available in the Trash window. If you delete an item in the Trash window permanently, you cannot restore it back into Daylite.

In a multi-user database, if someone else deletes an object while you are looking in the trash, you can click Refresh to view the updated trash contents.
