I can no longer synchronize my offline database

Problem:

When trying to synchronize your existing Offline database to the host computer, the following message is appearing:

ALERT Unable to acquire online database name and host name

Resolution:

Connect to the Online database from the remote computer using the server's IP address.
Then once connected, go to the File menu and click on 'Go Offline'.
This process will reset the IP address to the new one, and the synchronization process will continue.
You do not have to worry about the data on the Offline database as Daylite will recognize the existing Offline database and perform the proper sync.
