We often get this question "I added my license but it isn't working?"
One of the common problems when adding a license is that when highlighting the license and serial numbers, a user highlights past the end of the last character, and it will therefore not be recognized by Daylite when being added. Also, make sure to put the longer character string in the License field. If this does not solve the problem, try following the instructions in the article below.
Adding a license When you purchase Daylite or Daylite Productivity Suite (DPS), you will receive an email that has the serial number and license number. Note: The Daylite 3 serial and license numbers always begin with either DL-3.0 or DP-3.0 and they should only be entered into Daylite using the following method:
To add your license
1. Launch Daylite.
2. Choose Daylite > Licenses...
3. The Licenses window opens.
4. Click Add License.
5. Enter the serial number and license in their respective fields.
6. Click Save.
7. Daylite shows an alert "License Successfully Added."
8. Click OK.
9. Click Done.
Keep in mind that the letters, numbers, and other characters in the serial and license numbers match what you received in your email. It is a good idea to copy and paste the license information into the appropriate fields. This will ensure that it is free from errors.
If you have multiple licenses and multiple computers, you will have to enter every license on every computer. For example, if you purchased two individual copies (licenses) of Daylite and you have three computers, you must enter both licenses on all three computers. Daylite works on a concurrent use model. You only need licenses for the number of people that will use Daylite at the same time on the same or different databases. You can install Daylite on any number of computers.
