I upgraded to Daylite 3.2, and now I cannot access my database!

Scenario:
A remote user received an application updater notification message for version 3.2 (was previously using 3.1.x) and inadvertently upgraded the Master database. Users running Mac OS 10.3.x (Panther) can no longer access the database because they cannot install this version on their computers.

Please note that Daylite 3.2 requires Mac OS 10.4.x (Tiger) or higher.

If you're a 10.3.x (Panther) user, you must use Daylite v3.1.3 which is compatible with this OS version.

A backup of your database is created on the computer where the Master database resides. This is prior to when the actual database upgrade is performed.
Unless the default location has been changed, you can find the archived backup in:
Local Hardrive -> Library -> OpenBase -> Backups

To restore this backup, you can use the following training movie for reference how to do this:
Restore a database movie
Here is the link to the 'Daylite Database Utility' as shown in the Restoration movie:

When you have successfully restored the backup, all users that upgraded to version 3.2 (including the Server) should download and reinstall Daylite v3.1.3.
However, before doing this, using a 'Finder' window navigate to:
Local Hardrive -> Library -> Receipts and trash the 'DayliteApplication.pkg' file
You can now download and reinstall Daylite v3.1.3:
Daylite 3.1.3

If the message 'Same Database Engine Installed' appears during the install, click on the 'OK' button to confirm.
When going through the installation steps (specifically step #5 - "Installation Type"), please ensure that you select 'Upgrade' or 'Install' and not 'Customize'.
When the installation has completed, restart the computer.
Launch Daylite.

**If the message 'Application Updater' appears, click on the 'Update Later' button

In the 'Connect to' window, type in your username and password, the IP address ofthe host computer and click on the 'Login' button to access the database

Additional:
To prevent the 'Application Updater' message from appearing when launching Daylite, from the Daylite menu bar, select Daylite -> Preferences... -> General (icon)
Uncheck the 'Check the new version' box
