Importing contacts, activities, and notes from ACT!

ACT! is a software program made for Windows which handles contact and customer information management. Your contacts, activities, and notes can be imported from almost any version of ACT! into Daylite.

At this time, our convertor is compatible with the old ACT! 2.8 (for Mac users on OS 9), ACT! 6 through to version 10 premium, and ACT! 2000 through to 2008.

1. Read this document for more information about ACT! conversion including what fields are supported and how the import takes place.

2. Click here to purchase the conversion service from the Marketcircle store.

3. To send your database to Marketcircle:

What we'll need for you to do is send us the entire folder that your database is stored in. Sometimes you can do a 'save as' from the File menu in ACT! to create a copy of the database with all its components. In some cases a backup command will also do. It depends on which version of ACT! you are using. Essentially we require the database file and all it's associated files in order to do the conversion."

If your compressed database is smaller than 4 MB, please send it by email to info@marketcircle.com.

Otherwise if it is larger than 4 MB, please use www.yousendit.com.

In both cases, the recipient is info@marketcircle.com

In the email or in the comment box of www.yousendit.com, please add a small note advising us that this is your Act! database.

If the database requires a username and password to gain access, please provide that information as well.

Once we get the folder, we'll do the conversion for you and send it back.
