*    Launch Daylite, while holding down the [option] key.
*    If you see the 'Connect To Database' screen,  close it by clicking on the 'Cancel' button.
*    Go to the Daylite menu -> Preferences. Click General. 
*    Under 'When Launching the Application', select 'Connect to Last Database.'
*    Close the Preferences window.
*    Choose File -> Log in to Database.
*    Make sure that the right computer name or IP, Database name, and your username and password credentials are entered.
*    If this username has a password,  select the "Remember Password in Keychain" checkbox.
*    Click 'Login.'

The next time you launch Daylite, you should automatically be logged into the last database you had connected to.
