For Missing Sync Users using Daylite 1.x version

Daylite Palm conduit 1.6.4 is not fully compatible with the Missing Sync software.
Please use the following procedure as a workaround to install the Daylite Piranha conduit.
(Please note that this is for Daylite 1.x users. If you are using Daylite 3, this article doesn't apply because this issue has been rectified.)

  1. Create two dummy folders in the following location HD -> Library -> Application Support -> Palm Hotsync -> Conduits. The folders are: Install Conduit & Backup Conduit
  2. Install the Daylite Piranha conduit.
  3. Open the Daylite Palm Sync preferences window (from the menu bar select Daylite -> Preferences -> Palm Sync) Place a check in the 'Enable Palm Synchronization' box: However, by turning on Palm syncing in Daylite, it moves the Piranha conduit to the correct location, but puts all of the Missing Sync conduits into a folder called, "Conduits.psdisabled"
  4. Go back to the HD -> Library -> Application Support -> Palm Hotsync -> Conduits folder. Remove the Install Conduit & Backup Conduit folders
  5. In the 'Conduits.psdisabled' folder, move the Install Conduit.plugin & Backup Conduit.plugin files into the Conduits folder.
  6. You should now be able to perform a synchronization between Daylite and you Palm device using the Missing Sync software.
