I’d like to congratulate Philippe Mougin – the creator of F-Script. F-Script received the ‘Runner Up’ prize at the coveted Apple Design Awards (2006). It was featured in some of the sessions at WWDC as well.
Some of you may not know that Daylite 3 (and the upcoming Billings 2) use F-Script for both standalone scripts and in the report engine. F-Script has proven invaluable. It’s a great dynamic scripting language and some of the concepts are truly awesome.
This award also tells me that our engineering crew did the right thing when they chose F-Script as our scripting language of choice (you can call F-Script from within AppleScript – example provided in the Daylite Developer Kit). Kudos to the engineering team!
