We are just as excited as you are to try the newest features in High Sierra and iOS 11, but want to remind you how important it is to check your software compatibility before updating your macOS or iOS.
We have had a lot of questions about compatibility since Apple’s announcement so here is an update on the status of compatibility. For the latest updates check out the High Sierra & iOS 11 compatibility page.
Daylite 6
High Sierra
Daylite 6 is compatible with High Sierra, but you may experience some unexpected behavior. For the Daylite Mail Assistant, we have a Beta available to be downloaded.
iOS 11
The latest version of Daylite 6 is compatible with iOS 11.
Billings Pro
High Sierra
Billings Pro on the Mac is compatible with the latest High Sierra beta, but you may experience unexpected behaviour. Billings Pro Server Admin is not compatible. If you are using Billings Pro Self-Serve, do not update your Billings Pro Server to High Sierra.
iOS 11
Billings Pro on the iPhone & iPad is compatible, but you may experience some unexpected behaviour when using it with iOS 11.
Daylite 5
We tested Daylite 5 compatibility with macOS Sierra and iOS 10, and due to issues with older SDKs (developer kits), we made the decision to no longer update Daylie 5 for future operating systems and this continues with High Sierra and iOS 11. Rather than divide our resources to make old and current versions of Daylite compatible, we’re choosing to focus our efforts on making Daylite 6 the best it can be.
We hope you understand that as a small business it’s important to focus efforts and resources where it makes the most sense and that means sometimes having to say “no”.
Moving to Daylite Cloud
For Daylite 4 and 5 customers, now may be a good time to think about going Cloud as you no longer need to worry about not being supported on the latest version of macOS and iOS.
