The revenue a small business can generate is directly tied to the amount of work it can accomplish. After all, the more productive you are, the more money you make. And for that to happen, you likely have to often juggle multiple projects at the same time and hustle to do more with the same team. That’s why you must rely on a tool that gives you complete control of your projects from start to finish.
We’re happy to introduce the Projects Board to boost your project management and help you get more done on Mac, iPhone and iPad. This new feature will accelerate your team’s project planning and execution on your Apple devices, taking your business to the next level.
Introducing Daylite Projects Board
Similar to our most recent feature, the Opportunities Board, the Daylite Projects Board helps you visually track the progress of your projects and prioritize what’s most important so you can consistently deliver on your promises. It helps you simplify the management of your projects while standardizing your team’s work progress intuitively.
You’ll find a new item called Projects Board under the new Projects section in the Daylite sidebar on Mac, or in the Objectives tab on iPhone or iPad. This board is directly connected to your Project Pipelines and shows stages of the selected pipeline as columns, with cards for each project organized by their current stage.
See the Full Picture
The Projects Board gives you an at-a-glance view of the active projects in the pipeline and the stages they’re at. It helps you easily identify where there may be bottlenecks or areas of concern, such as projects that are getting stuck at a particular stage, so you and your team can focus on moving them along. You can simply double-click a card to see the project’s details as well as related activities and upcoming tasks.
At the top of the Board, you can see the total count of how many projects are in the selected pipeline and in each stage, so you can get a better sense of how your projects are progressing and take action to move them along.
When a project is ready to move forward, you can easily drag and drop the card to the next stage, moving it along in the pipeline. If a project is completed or cancelled, drag it to the corresponding area at the bottom of the board so you can focus only on the projects that require your attention.
Easily drag and drop the cards to move projects to the next stage or to the corresponding area in the bottom of the board once the project is completed.
Oversee Your Team’s Workload
Powerful filtering options allow you to sort projects by Owner, Next Activity, Due Date, and more to get different perspectives on your projects, so you always know which projects your team is working on and which you should focus on first.
Sorting projects by Owner allows you to learn if any team member has challenges with their projects so that you can collaborate and work on them together. On the other hand, the Due Date filter ensures your team never misses a deadline, while the Next Activity shows the upcoming tasks and appointments related to each project. In addition, the Days in Stage filter shows you the projects that are “stuck” in a certain stage for too long, so you can follow up and get it going again.
