We use Daylite for all our calendars, resource bookings (Laptops, etc), customer email tracking and estimates.
We previously used SalesForce and found it to be cumbersome, expensive and as a disaster recovery company, their solution wasn’t backed up enough for us.
Daylite on our iPads allow us to work anywhere and not have to drag laptops with us. This means that we can answer customer requests away from the office regardless of of the hardware we have with us.
Before the iPad everyone had laptops that they took everywhere with them. Now everyone is using desktops and iPads. It truly is a laptop alternative! We’ve built an iPhone and iPad app for our customers to have their recovery plans with them anywhere and the iPad has given us another platform to work with.
Daylite on the Mac is my (and my companies) lifeblood. Without it, I have no idea what my wife’s phone number is! It is also my entire calendar, so without it, I wouldn’t know when to be anywhere. On the iPhone, DL is essential for contacting customers while driving, double checking meeting times and having all the information I need at my finger tips without risking the data being stored on my iPhone. The iPad gives everyone the alternative to the laptop we’ve been craving. Instant boot allows me to check a order status immediately without having to email and wait for a response from our sales guys.
In short, DL runs our business. From download capture (integration with our website) to software maintenance renewals and everything in between.

Our business is very mobile and having access to everything we need anywhere is key. It allows us to have an intelligent/informed conversation with a client anywhere. Also, with tracking every single email, we know the entire history of our clients. This allows us to be a lot more consistent with customer interaction.
Without DL, we go home because there is nothing to do without it.
We love DL and as a software company ourselves, would be open to testing anything coming down the pipe to give “real” feedback.
