Adjusting a Timed Slip

A slip that can be timed using a timer to calculate the total amount based on the number of hours worked and hourly rate is called a timed slip. A timed slip represents the entire billing cycle for a task. You can manually change timed slips to correct them. You may want to adjust the timer entries for a timed slip, if you accidentally left a timer running and want to reduce the total time of the slip. Similarly, you may wish to add time for hours worked that you did not track in Billings Pro.

To access the timer entries for a timed slip 1. In the Working Slips tab, double-click the timed slip you want to adjust. The slip's card opens. 2. Click the Log button next to the slip's Duration. The timer entry log sheet opens. This sheet shows all of the manually and automatically tracked time spent on the slip.
