Sync Failed - Error Code 1000

Symptom

Daylite is reporting an "Error Code 1000" when attempting to synchronize with Daylite Server Admin.

Why is this problem occurring

A process called "Daylite Sync Helper" (which is responsible for performing background syncing) has stopped running.

Solution

  1. Quit Daylite
  2. Restart the computer
  3. Launch Daylite
  4. Attempt a manual sync (File -> Sync)

If these steps haven't helped, please initiate a support ticket via Daylite (Help > Contact Support). For the issue type, select "Report a Problem". In the summary field enter "Sync Error 1000". Please ensure that the "Include diagnostic information, such as log" box is checked.
