Transitioning from Sync Services with Daylite 3 to CalDAV/CardDAV with Daylite 4 and 5.

In Daylite 3.x, synchronization of your Daylite data with Address Book and iCal utilizes Apple Sync Services. This technology only allows you to synchronize your local Address Book and iCal data with Daylite.
In Daylite 4, instead of Apple Sync Services, the synchronization technology used to share contact and calendar data is CardDAV and CalDAV. Due to this, the behaviour of the sync has changed with Daylite 4.

I'm syncing Daylite 3 with Address Book and iCal on my Mac. I wish to upgrade to Daylite 4 and share my contacts and calendar data with Address Book, iCal and my devices (iPhone/iPad).
Solution (migration and Daylite Server Admin setup):
- Launch Daylite 3 and go to Daylite > Preferences.
- Click Synchronization.
- Click the button to 'Turn Syncing Off.'
- Create a backup of Address Book, iCal and Daylite.
- Migrate your Daylite 3 database to Daylite 4 (refer to the Daylite 4 user guide for this).
- Once the migration is complete, you must ensure that you have configured Daylite Server Admin 4 properly and set up your network settings appropriately. If you have multiple Daylite databases hosted on Daylite Server Admin 4, you must set one specific database as your primary database. (refer to the Daylite 4 user guide for network setup info).
