Apple’s new iPad is a new category of product and we are very excited about it.
We’ve gotten many inquiries as to whether Daylite Touch and Billings Touch will run on iPad. Using the first beta of iPhone SDK 3.2, we’ve been able to test both apps in the iPad Simulator and both work unmodified.
As far as iPad specific versions of our applications, we have no announcements to make at this time.
We are looking forward to the many new possibilities and opportunities the iPad represents.
Until next time…
AJ

Even Daylite Touch unmodified is awesome. But I can see greater things ahead for it… I know your mind AJ. You and your crew can’t help help but produce something that blows the doors off of anything anyone expected. Daylite Touch was far beyond my expectations and I know you are always one step ahead. Good things, Good things!
By the way we just finished conducting the first ever Marketcircle Certified Daylite 101 Training today. 4 people attended. Our next one will be in March.
You keep making great products, we’ll keep training people how to use them!

I don’t know how much work is involved, but I’ll commit to a couple of licenses.
Love the new blog design.
stefan says:
Please, develop it!
Michael Czeiszperger says:
I for one am interested in a pad version. As a business customer Daylite is incredibly cheap, and the $50 price of the iPhone version is a steal.
Scott says:
So, when will this unannounced product be ready?
VinceVN says:
Daylite Touch is magic and now that you have us hooked to access our data while mobile, Marketcircle can’t avoid the iPad app.
The new interface might even give you leads for Daylite 4.0….
But it will be tough to shell out another $50 a year for the new device. There must be ways for a license per user, instead of per device.
Congrats for the great job!

We are incredibly excited about the possibilities of the iPad and Daylite. This combination alone will make purchasing decisions for sales teams, real estate, and more a no brainer. Here is to the future of business computing productivity!

@Scott
There’s no announcement, as AJ mentioned in the blog post. We don’t talk about future products.
David Hofert says:
As of right now, I’m hoping to use an ipad as my mobile office for my business. I would like to see the option for doing estimates in addition to invoices on the billings touch program. Is that in the works?
Doug Tomlinson says:
Oh, PRETTY PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE put forms way up high on the list for Daylite Touch on the iPad.
Did I say please???
Thanks in advance for all the hard work I know your team will be dedicating to this, regardless of no official comment ;p

waiting for Daylite on iPad…
Chris says:
I am a freelance photographer that is very interesting in aquiring several iPad’s for my studio staff and myself as well, I also JUST found Daylite today due to looking to purchase a 27″ iMac for my future post-production editing as well as client/invoice management. Looking throughout the web this is hands down THE best software I have seen thus far.
However, considering all my staff will be using iPad’s for their client meetings, presentations, digital portfolios, as well as connectivity and communication with the office, I will have to wait to see if you guys develop this software for the iPad (more advanced and featured-filled than your Touch version) before I can decide on purchasing a lisence bundle. If you had options for iPad multi-user lisencing (if and when you have an iPad product) and would include itself in a bundle for regular lisnecing that would be ideal for our company.
I understand you do not share future product info (which you should if you commit
and the NDA on the iPad SDK and all, so I am just sharing my comments.
We are looking to purchase multi-lisence enterprise software around a month after the iPad launches, if you have iPad software by then, or can guarantee a post-purchase bundle discount for existing csutomers, we will gladly purchase, celelbrate, and spread the word about your software. We just need to keep costs down, and the company the helps us do that (as well as incredible product) is the company we go with… and I know it will be you!
